The following links connect to national and international acquired, congenital, and degenerative brain injury advocacy organizations.

All brain injuries are traumatic to those affected, but not all brain injuries are traumatic brain injuries (TBI).  The Brain Injury Connection's focus is on the acquired brain injury (ABI) community and TBI is one of the many types of an ABI.  Other types of ABI include aneurysms, brain tumors, encephalitis, meningitis, strokes, etc.

The common denominator is the body's most important and least understood organ, the brain.
