About the Blue Book

The BIC Blue Book is a community resource guide for those affected by brain injury. It is our hope the Blue Book will help connect individuals whose lives have been affected by brain injury with a variety of providers and support entities.

How can the Blue Book help me?

There are other nonprofits, businesses and specialists listed in the Blue Book. The goal of the Blue Book is to help you find resources and help you sort through options by providing the nonprofits and businesses, and the names, specialties and contact information for providers who specifically serve the brain injury community.    Not all doctors, lawyers, therapists, etc. are familiar with the issues affecting survivors and their caregivers.

How can I help the Blue Book?

To help us build a meaningful resource guide, we encourage survivors and caregivers to contribute information to the Blue Book about the resources they have found most helpful.  We also allow providers and other entities to add their information to the Blue Book free of charge.

How do I add a listing to the Blue Book?

If you are aware of a business or nonprofit, legal, medical or disability specialist and you were satisfied with their services and/or programs, please confirm they are in the BIC Blue Book and if they are not, please add them to the directory.

It’s fast and easy to suggest your favorite providers as a resources to the Blue Book.  Follow the directions in the FAQ titled, “How do I add an entry to the BIC Blue Book?”

NOTE:  Although the information contained in the Blue Book is believed to be accurate, BIC has not investigated the providers and makes no warranty about the quality or suitability of any provider or service listed.  Before you chose any provider, BIC recommends you investigate a provider’s competency and suitability regardless of whether or not the provider is listed in the Blue Book.  Some of the providers in the Blue Book have donated time, talent and/or money to the BIC.
